What are workspaces?
- Workspaces are a way to segment your organization by different sets of users and templates, to use Jetdocs independently across different parts of your organization.
- Workspaces can be configured to include either all members of your organization, or a managed subset of users.
- Workspaces can be set to external facing, allowing Jetdocs to be accessed via a non-authenticated UI to allow external users to submit tickets.
- Workspaces are available to all Pro organizations. Reach out to [email protected] to set up a new workspace.
Changing workspaces
- If an organization is using multiple workspaces, end users are able to switch to a different workspace by going to Catalog → Workspace dropdown in the top left

- The Ticket Hub shows a consolidated view of all tickets across all workspaces a user belongs to, without explicitly segmenting tickets. To filter by tickets from a specific workspace, go to Ticket Hub → Add filter → Workspace
Managing workspace users
- Workspace user management can be found by going to the main left hand menu (click on Jetdocs icon in the top left) → User Management → Workspace Roles tab
- To see this UI, you must be an Admin or Manager of the specific workspace OR an Organization Admin across the org (See Roles and Permissions documentation to learn more)
- If the workspace is configured to include all organization users, you can use this UI to manage workspace user roles
- If the workspace is configured to only include specific users, you can use this UI to add users (underneath the list of workspace users) or remove users (minus sign in the user list row) from the workspace
